When it comes to Learning Disabilities, there are so many stories waiting to be told. Challenges are plenty and success is something that has to be fought for and earned through constant effort, patience, and compassion.
And if I were to tell you some of the most courageous and interesting stories that I have heard and seen unfold personally over the two short years I've been working as a therapist with children and families with LD's, it would already be enough to fill volumes.
To bring these powerful stories to life, I have decided to set a stage where real life stories are to be enacted live. And I will bring my most talented friends ~ actors, writers, musicians, some with challenges of their own. Together, we shall hear your real stories live and reflect them through the power of Playback Theatre, right before your very eyes.
You are invited to come and witness many people in your community share about what it is really like to live with learning disabilities or to support someone who does. There will be space for you to share your view as well, or to simply sit back and enjoy the show, as we explore what lessons have been learned and what is best for us to do about it.
